Timber is the only structural material that grows back.
Every LES house is cross-laminated spruce from forests within 90 kilometres of our hall — cut, dried, pressed and assembled indoors, where a wall can be built to two millimetres instead of two centimetres.
The wood stays visible. Not as a veneer over plasterboard, but as the structure itself: you can see the grain of the beam that is holding up your roof, and it will still be holding it up in a hundred years.
A single 96 m² house stores roughly 19 tonnes of carbon in its frame — about what a family car emits in nine years.

Pick a plan, a cladding and a kitchen line at our hall in Škofja Loka. You leave with a quotation that does not move.
Week 0 · 2 hoursPermits and foundation
We file the building paperwork and pour a slab or set screw piles while your house waits in the production queue.
Weeks 1–4Built indoors
Walls are pressed, glazed, wired and lined under a roof. Your house never once sees rain before it is watertight.
Weeks 5–12Craned and connected
Two trucks, one crane, one morning. We connect services, clean it and hand you a house that smells of spruce.
Weeks 13–14
Materials
Four claddings. All of them age on purpose.
Siberian larch, untreated
Silvers to driftwood grey in about three years.
Charred spruce · shou sugi ban
Burned surface, no coating, fifty-year life.
Oiled Douglas fir
Keeps its honey tone. Re-oiled every five years.
Lime render on wood fibre
For plots where the planners insist on render.
